Jet fuel in Chicago dropped to its lowest level in almost two months on Tuesday, with sources saying the region was well-supplied.

S&P Global Platts assessed jet on generic pipelines in the Chicago area at NYMEX July ULSD futures minus 50 points/gal, down 1.70 cents from Monday and its lowest level since reaching minus 1.50 cents/gal on April 25.

The 650-mile West Shore Pipeline, which runs refined products from Chicago to Granville, Wisconsin, was shut for planned maintenance Monday, according to a notice from the company.

It is expected to be down through June 19, but sources said it would probably not impact refined products prices in the region.
