Russian export duties on benzene, toluene and xylenes will rise for a third consecutive month in July, according to the Ministry of Economy.

The duties will rise 5.6% month on month to $41.70/mt in July for a 72% year-on-year increase amid stronger crude prices and duties, the ministry said Wednesday.

The BTX duties will remain at 30% of the crude export duty, the same proportion as in 2017. Export duties on crude are set to rise to $139.10/mt.

Export duties for some sorts of crude -- from Eastern Siberia and Caspian Sea fields -- and certain refined products, such as ethane and butane, will remain at zero in July. These have remained at zero since January 2015.

Naphtha's export duty will be $76.50/mt in July, the ministry said.
