Shandong Hualu Hengsheng Chemical had completed initial construction of its 160kt/y aidpic acid facility and was in the process of installation.

According to relevant people from this company, the plant would put into operation in the beginning of next year. However, market players estimated that the facility was to finish construction in the fourth quarter this year and put into operation in the second quarter of 2011. After it put on stream, sales revenue was predicted to increase by Rmb 2.2 billion every year.

Besides, the company’s other projects such as acetic acid plant and MEG plant would also put on stream in succession in the next few years while construction of its 50kt/y coal to MEG facility may be finished in the first half of 2011.
