China:N. China boosts crude output by 29.36% yoy in Jan-Jun: NBS

North China hiked crude output by 29.36% year-on-year to 20.56-mil mt in the first half of 2010, shows the data from the National Bureau of Statistics. The growth was the largest among Chinese regions.
Tianjin in North China boosted crude output by 43.98% to 15.07-mil mt in the period, according to the data.
Meanwhile, Northwest China lifted crude output by 7.52% to 27.78-mil mt, while Northeast China remained China's biggest crude producer, though its output inched down 0.4% to 28.54-mil mt, the data indicates.
Northwest China replaced Northeast China and became the largest crude producer in June. The former raised its crude output by 7.74% year-on-year to 4.87-mil mt in the month, while the latter trimmed its production by 1.34% to 4.71-mil mt, the data also says.
