With a 20,000 tonne/year polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMEG) unit and a 20,000 tonne/year tetrafluoroethane (R-134a or HFC-134a) facility running at high load, Zhang Haibing, General Manager of Sinochem’s Taicang industrial park, who was supervising production safety on site revealed that sales revenue of the industrial park achieved Rmb 550 million, and is targeted to breakthrough Rmb 1 billion this year.

The company implemented optimized technical process and solutions, also improved products' performance and stability, showed great concern about PTMEG application in spandex field, so that to improve market share and add products'value. For the first half of 2010, sales of PTMEG achieved Rmb 120 million, up 164% year-on-year.
