Experts to evaluate exemptions under RoHS

The European Commission has requested scientific support from the Öko-Institut and Fraunhofer IZM to help it evaluate exemptions for substance restrictions under the EU restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) Directive. Stakeholders can provide comments until 20 March on pre-chosen exemptions, after which the Öko-Institut will issue a final opinion on the inclusion of new exemptions to the RoHS Directive.
