On June 12th, the commodity price index (BPI) was at 955 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 28.89% from the highest point of 1,343 points in the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 44.70% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on June 12, 2024, there were a total of 39 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (16 in total) and the rubber and plastic sector (6 in total). Commodities with a price increase of more than 5% were mainly concentrated in the chemical sector; The top three products with the highest increase were neopentyl glycol (7.19%), tin (2.61%), and isobutyraldehyde (1.58%). There were a total of 52 commodities that experienced a month on month decline, concentrated in chemical (16 in total) and non-ferrous (14 in total). The top three commodities with the largest decline were praseodymium oxide (-2.65%), formic acid (-2.56%), and iron ore (Australia) (-2.49%).
