SunSirs: Copper Closed Higher on June 19th

The price of copper in Shanghai had slightly increased. The main contract 2408 closed at 79,210 RMB/ton, up 510 RMB/ton or 0.65%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, London's March copper quotation was 9,694.00 US dollars per ton. The ratio between Shanghai and London was 8.17, which was higher than the previous trading day's 8.10. The Shanghai futures copper rose more than the London market. All contracts were traded in 219,771 lots, with a decrease of 1,455 lots in holdings to 530,967 lots. The main contract sold 78,151 lots, and the position increased by 1,691 lots to 159,320 lots.
