On June 24th, the commodity price index (BPI) was 950 points, a decrease of 1 point from yesterday, a decrease of 29.26% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 43.94% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on June 24, 2024, there were a total of 31 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, concentrated in the chemical sector (11 in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (7 in total). The top 3 commodities with a rise were nitrile rubber (2.25%), polyester staple fiber (2.03%), and chicken eggs (1.40%). There were a total of 61 commodities that experienced a month on month decline, concentrated in chemical (27 in total) and steel (10 in total). The top three commodities with the largest decline were steel billets (-3.23%), iron ore (Australia) (-2.65%), and glass (-1.83%).
