SunSirs: India Decides to Impose Anti-dumping Duties on Butyl Rubber

According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on September 27, 2024, the Indian Ministry of Finance's Taxation Bureau issued Notice No. 17/2024 Custods (ADD), accepting the anti-dumping final ruling made by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry on June 29, 2024, regarding isobutylene Isoprene Rubber originating from or imported from China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and the United States. The decision was made to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries for a period of 5 years, as follows: China at $325/ton, Russia at $931/ton, Saudi Arabia at $594-653/ton, Singapore at $1,047-1,152/ton, and the United States at $781-859/ton, respectively,. The Indian customs code for the product involved is 40,023,100. This measure shall come into effect from the date of publication of this notice in the official gazette.
