On October 23rd, the benchmark price of mixed xylene in RMB/ton was 5,850.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.85% compared to the beginning of this month (5,960.00 RMB/ton).

The mainstream spot price range in the xylene market in East China was between 5,910-5,940 RMB/ton, an increase of 40 RMB/ton from the previous trading day.

Analysis review

In the morning, the market was cautious and trading was generally quiet, resulting in a weak market trend on October 23rd. Sinopec East China Company's xylene quotation was stable at 5,850 RMB/ton.
