According to data from SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes slightly decreased this week. As of the weekend 20th, the price of 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was quoted at 4,282.5 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.35% from the beginning of the week and a year-on-year decrease of 6.6%.

Analysis review

The price of upstream tube billets had fluctuated downward, with a weekly decrease of 60 RMB/ton. Currently, the market price of 20 # hot-rolled tube billets was quoted at 3,480-3,623 RMB/ton.

This week, the production of the tube factory had slightly increased and now entered the off-season of demand, with a slight decrease in demand and weak support for cost side prices. Environmental protection policies had weakened in many northern regions, and production restrictions for management factories had been gradually lifted. Production had rebounded and entered the off-season of demand, with significant pressure on supply and demand.

Market outlook
