EVA raw materials have slightly increased, with some cost support. Some EVA manufacturers have slightly raised their offers, and the market's bullish sentiment has increased. Downstream suppliers are stocking up as needed.
Recently (11.11-11.18), the production of EVA equipment in China has slightly decreased to 7.5%, indicating a weakening of market supply pressure. The prices of raw materials ethylene and vinyl acetate have slightly increased, and the cost of EVA is supported. As of November 19th, the price of ethylene in the East China market has risen to around 7,400 RMB/ton, and the price of vinyl acetate has fallen to around 5,500 RMB/ton.
From the perspective of the demand side, downstream foam manufacturers tend to purchase on demand, while low-priced sources of goods in the market have decreased, resulting in relatively strong market demand.
Overall, the rising prices of raw materials ethylene and vinyl acetate will have a significant impact on the EVA market. EVA production slightly decreased, easing supply pressure; The demand side urgently needs support in the short term. Overall, it is expected that the EVA spot market will continue to fluctuate and rise in the short term.
