Shanghai Electric and Haier Group Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On January 21, Shanghai Electric and Haier Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement witnessed by senior executives from both sides.

According to the agreement, leveraging their existing collaborative foundation and respective strengths, the two parties will deepen cooperation in areas such as zero-carbon parks, industrial internet, joint industrial chain creation, new energy, and international collaboration, supporting the development of first-class enterprises and contributing to the national energy strategy.

Wu Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric, noted that previous collaborations between the two sides have yielded significant results, and this signing marks a new starting point for enhanced synergy, with expectations to strengthen practical cooperation in overseas energy development and industrial projects. Zhou Yunjie, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and CEO of Haier Group, expressed willingness to open resource platforms, refine collaboration details in technological R&D and scenario applications, promote project implementation, and set a model for cooperation between state-owned and private enterprises.
