Three chemical industry parks in Shanxi Province are set to pass the assessment and enter the public notice stage

Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shanxi Province released a public notice on the seventh batch of chemical industrial parks to be recognized. Three parks, namely the Nanguan Area of the Chemical Industrial Park of Lingshi Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Chemical Industrial Park of Jiangxian Economic Development Zone, and the Chemical Industrial Park of Wenshui Economic Development Zone, are recommended for recognition, and public comments are being solicited from the society.

This recognition work is carried out in strict accordance with the relevant provisions of the *Standards for the Construction and Certification Management Measures for Chemical Industrial Parks in Shanxi Province* (No. 12, Jin Zheng Ban Fa [2026]). In terms of work flow, first, the people's governments of each prefecture-level city complete the review and declaration work. The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shanxi Province jointly carries out a review of the submitted declaration materials with relevant functional departments, and organizes experts to conduct on-site inspections. After comprehensive evaluation, the list of the seventh batch of chemical industrial parks to be recognized is determined and publicly announced to the society.

The public notice will be available from August 27 to September 5, 2026. During the public notice period, any unit or individual who has objections to the proposed recognition results may feedback to the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shanxi Province by phone or in writing within the validity period of the notice, and relevant supporting materials shall be submitted simultaneously when feedbacking.
