TECHNICAL COMPLETENESS CHECK TOOL FOR PRODUCT AND PROCESS ORIENTATED RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (PPORD) NOW AVAILABLE

A technical completeness check tool for Product and Process Orientated Research and Development (PPORD) notification submissions is now available. This software tool offers the possibility to companies to check on their own the completeness of their PPORD dossiers before submitting their notifications to ECHA. The purpose of the tool is to help companies to prepare a complete technical dossier for PPORD data submission according to REACH Articles 9(3) and 20(2).


This new software tool was launched yesterday and is available free of charge on the IUCLID 5 website (under the tab “REACH tool”). A user must accept the terms and conditions of the tool to complete the down load. The soft ware can be accessed via the link below.


Further information on how to prepare a PPORD notification dossier is provided in the Data Submission Manual 1 “How to prepare and submit a PPORD notification” and in the Data Submission Manual 5 “How to complete a technical dossier for registrations and PPORD notifications”. Both manuals are available on the PPORD page in the REACH IT section of the ECHA website.
