2010 China SNG/CBM (International) Summit opens today at Dongsheng Hongfu Hotel in Changji. Guided by Xinjiang Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, this summit is organized by China ChemNet of Netsun(stock code: 002095).
Dozens of leaders and experts from the NDRC, National Advisory Committee for Energy, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, China Petroleum Planning & Engineering Institute, General Hospital of Chinese coal, China Gas Association, China Natural Gas Industry Strategic Research Center, Northwest Research Institute of Chemical Industry attended the summit.
As a rising industry, SNG/CBM industry is pinned high hopes the moment it was pointed out, getting attentions from many aspects. In June of 2010, that the natural gas price was adjusted higher pushed SNG/CBM industry at the forefront again. There appeared an upsurge of investing SNG/CBM projests everywhere. Shortly, the State Development and Reform Commission called back the authorization of examining and approving SNG projects, thus laying aside the SNG industry again.
