PetroChina Dalian Petrochemical plans to process 1.48-mil mt of crude in March, with daily throughput down 4.5% from the previous month, revealed a refinery source.

The refinery shut No.2 fluid catalytic cracker for 45-day maintenance on Feb 25, the source said.

Nearby 10-mil-mt/yr Dalian Wepec went into overall turnaround on Feb 25, expected to resume production early April, C1 reported earlier.

Dalian Petrochemical, located in Dalian City of Northeast China's Liaoning Province, has an annual topping capacity of 20.5-mil mt. The refinery mainly consumes imported sour crude.
