EU Commission extends ban on DMFu in biocidal products

The European Commission has announced an extension to the Regulation preventing the sale of products containing the biocide dimethylfumarate (DMFu).

The extension will apply until 15 March 2013 or until the proposed restriction under REACH enters into force, which is currently awaiting approved by the European Parliament and Council of Ministers (CW 1 December 2011).
