Chemical News: Bayer to highlight polycarbonates progress at PDM12

Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) will highlight its standing as a prominent supplier of high-performance materials and innovative system solutions used in a wide range of products for everyday life at the PDM12 show (Stand 45).

Principal customers are the automotive and construction industries, the electrical/electronics sector, manufacturers of sports and leisure articles, packaging and medical equipment.

At PDM BMS will showcase four different application sectors that deploy polycarbonate solutions to advance technology:

•Electric vehicle charging – meeting the challenges of the “green” revolution in the automotive industry;
•Illuminating ideas for consumer and residential projects – exploring the use of Makrolon LEDs for both residential and commercial projects;
•The use of polycarbonates to product high quality-surfaces, using the example of a Makrolon spoiler for a new car model.
•Coatings and trimmings for vehicle interiors.
