Sydney --31Jul2007 Ticona, the engineering plastics subsidiary of Dallas-based Celanese
Corp., plans to relocate its production site in Germany from Kelsterbach to
the Frankfurt-Hoechst Industrial Park in Frankfurt by mid-2011, Celanese said
in a statement.

Ticona agreed in November 2006 to move its facilities at Kelsterbach in
order to make room for an expansion of Frankfurt airport.

"Over the next four years, we will construct the world's largest,
state-of-the-art polyacetal plant with an increased capacity relative to our
current Kelsterbach facility, Ticona president Sandra Beach Lin said.

Ticona produces acetal polymers and thermoplastics which are used by the
automotive, appliance components, information technology, medical and health
industries.
