BASF raises prices for certain specialty amines in Europe

Effective immediately, or as existing contracts permit, BASF is raising its prices for propyl-, butyl- and 2-ethylhexylamines in Europe.

Mono-n-propylamine	+ 40 euros/ton
Di-n-propylamine	+ 50 euros/ton
Tri-n-propylamine	+ 50 euros/ton
Mono-n-butylamine	+ 40 euros/ton
Di-n-butylamine	+ 50 euros/ton
Tri-n-butylamine	+ 50 euros/ton
2-Ethylhexylamine	+ 40 euros/ton
Di-2-ethylhexylamine	+ 50 euros/ton

Propylamines, butylamines and ethylhexylamines are starting materials for a variety of intermediates for industries such as agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, rubber and coatings.
