PUWORLD(2010-6-28)——On June 22, The Designated Authority in the India Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched anti-dumping sunset reevaluation investigation on the import of pentaerythritol from Taiwan.

Pentaerythritol finds application in the manufacture of alkyl resin, synthetic rubber, printing inks, stabilisers for plastics, explosives, pharmaceuticals and synthetic lubricants.

The period of the dumping extent investigation was from Jan 1, 2009-Dec 31, 2009 while period of industry damage investigation shall include 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.
