PUWORLD(2010-06-30)——According to relevant person from BASF, the company planned to shut down its 160kt/y TDI plant at Caojing in Shanghai for two-three week maintenance on July 4th, which was mainly due to the malfunction occurring on June 18th.

Shanghai BASF Polyurethane Co. Ltd. (SBPC) is co-established by BASF, Shanghai Huayi (Group) Company and Sinopec Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical Corporation while its 160kt/y TDI facility is part of Shanghai Lianheng Isocyanate’s integrated isocyanates complex.
