Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical is expected to refine 950,000mt of crude oil in August, up 8% from the previous month, a source with the refinery said.

The refinery's production would be affected little by glitch of an 800,000-mt/yr reformer, which would be under maintenance for a week, the source said.
Yanshan Petrochemical, located in Beijing of North China, has a crude oil processing capacity of 13.5-mil mt per year. The refinery is able to produce Euro IV oil products and mainly supplies the products to local market.
