It is known from Shanxi Sanwei Chemical that the company’s 75kt/y BDO facility has started up, but actual time when products will be yielded remains unclear.

Besides the 75kt/y facility which makes BDO from maleic anhydride (MAH), the company still has two BDO facilities which use calcium carbide and acetylene as raw materials.
