This week, the favorable support of DOP weakened, and the price of DOP rose first and then fell.

　　Domestic DOP import and export volume

　　According to data released by the customs, the import volume of DOP sources in 2022 shrank sharply, while the export volume increased. In August, China's DOP import volume was 161.4 tons, down 98.6% year-on-year, and the cumulative import volume from January to August fell by 81.8% year-on-year. Since June, the export volume of DOP has risen sharply. The export volume in August was 5,442.7 tons, a year-on-year increase of 644%, and a cumulative increase of 33% from January to August. Although the proportion of imported DOP in the domestic DOP market was small, the decrease in import volume and the large increase in export volume also reduced the domestic DOP market supply and increased the demand, which was good for the domestic DOP market.

　　PA prices stabilized after rising

　　According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the price of PA stabilized after rising this week, and the market of PA rose. As of September 26, the price of PA was 10,300 RMB/ton, up 7.29% from the price of 9,600 RMB/ton on September 18 at the beginning of the week. Recently, the supply of PA in the PA market has been tight, and some domestic devices have been overhauled. The 120,000-ton PA plant in Tongling, Anhui Province was shut down for maintenance for about a month, and Xinyang Group's 100,000-ton PA plant was parked, and it is expected to restart after the National Day. Domestic spot supply of PA was tight, the price of PA on the market rose sharply, the cost of DOP raw materials rose, and the driving force of DOP's rise increased.

　　According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the price of 2-EH fell fluctuatingly this week. As of September 26, the price of 2-EH was 8,866.67 RMB/ton, down 6.01% from the price of 9,433.33 RMB/ton on September 18 at last weekend. The price of isooctyl alcohol fell, the cost of DOP fell, and the favorable support of DOP weakened.

　　Market outlook

　　The DOP data analyst of SunSirs believes that the recent import and export data of plasticizers has improved, the export volume has increased significantly, and the import volume has decreased, and the supply and the positives on the supply and demand side are still there. In terms of raw materials, the price of PA stabilized after the sharp rise, the price of isooctyl alcohol fell sharply, and the favorable support of DOP weakened. The cost of DOP has dropped and the demand has picked up. In terms of the market outlook, it is expected that the price of DOP will fluctuate slightly and fall.
