　　According to customs statistics, China imported about 170000 tons of cotton in December 2022, with a month-on-month decrease of about 10000 tons and a year-on-year increase of about 24.9%.

　　From January to December 2022, China imported about 1.94 million tons of cotton, down about 9.8% year on year.

　　In 2022/23 (2022.9-12), China imported about 570000 tons of cotton, with a year-on-year increase of about 54.1%.
