According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average price of PS at the beginning of this week was 9,300 RMB/ton, and the average price of PS at the weekend was 9,233 RMB/ton. The price decreased slightly by 0.72%, a decrease of 18.89% compared to the same period last year.

Mainstream brand quotation reference: Saibaolong 525 quoted 8,150-8,200 RMB/ton, Liwan 525 quoted 8,150-8,200 RMB/ton, Lianyungang Petrochemical 525 quoted 8100 RMB/ton for delivery; Shanghai SECCO 123P reported 9,600 RMB/ton, Zhenjiang Qimei PG33 reported 9,200-9,300 RMB/ton, and Yangba 158K reported 8,850-8,900 RMB/ton; Ningbo Taihua 535N offers 8,900-8,950 RMB/ton for solid negotiation.

International crude oil prices have fallen, and short-term styrene breakthrough momentum is insufficient, temporarily maintaining sideways game fluctuations; The supply pressure of some PS materials is not big, and the demand side is still weak. The merchants mainly sell at low prices. The mainstream price of GPPS (Polyphenylene sulfide) in East China market is 8,000-9,200 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is 8,600-9,650 RMB/ton.

The demand in the PS market is weak, and it is expected that in the short term, the PS (polystyrene) market may experience a weak and volatile trend in China.
