Recently (2.8-2.23), the market for NBR has slightly increased. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of February 23rd, the price of NBR was 15,050 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.52% from 14,825 RMB/ton on the 8th. The rising price of raw material butadiene and the narrow range of acrylonitrile prices continue to support the cost of NBR; After the holiday, downstream work has not yet resumed, and the rubber hose industry is operating at less than 20%. The demand for NBR is relatively weak. The inventory pressure of NBR enterprises is average, and some enterprises have raised their listing prices, resulting in a slight increase in the market price of NBR. As of February 23, the mainstream market price of Lanhua 3305 in East China is 14,400-14,600 RMB/ton; Shunze 3355 market report around 15,000-15,300 RMB/ton; Nandi Nitrile 1052 reported around 16,600-16,800 RMB/ton.

Recently (2.8-2.23), the price of raw material butadiene continued to rise, while the price of acrylonitrile fluctuated narrowly, and the cost of NBR continued to support. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of February 23rd, the price of butadiene was 10,216 RMB/ton, an increase of 4.25% from 9,800 RMB/ton on the 8th; As of February 23, the price of acrylonitrile remained stable at 9,225 RMB/ton.

The downstream production of NBR hoses in China remains at a low level of around 20%, while the production of rubber insulation foam is around 20%. The demand side is dragging down the NBR market.

SunSirs analyst believes that currently, NBR is supported by the rising cost of butadiene, but downstream production is declining and demand is weak. In addition, there is not much pressure on the supply side of NBR. It is expected that in the later stage, as downstream production increases, the NBR market may continue to rise slightly.
