Analysis review

The market price of chlorinated paraffin had fallen this week. This week, the price of raw material liquid chlorine fell first and then rose, while the price of raw material liquid wax increased, providing cost support. Downstream procurement was cautious, with many low price transactions, limited market demand, and a light trading atmosphere. The quotation of chlorinated paraffin manufacturers had been lowered, and the actual order would be discussed in detail. As of March 21st, the ex factory price of 52 environmentally friendly chlorinated paraffin in Anhui region was about 6,000 RMB/ton, and the market price of 52 national standard chlorinated paraffin in Shandong region was about 5,300-5,800 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw material liquid wax, the price of liquid wax had continued to rise this week. The market trend was improving, with liquid wax fluctuating with the crude oil market. In terms of raw material liquid chlorine, the price of liquid chlorine had first decreased and then increased this week. The market transaction atmosphere was improving, and the market trading was still acceptable, with real order based on negotiations being the main focus.

Market outlook

SunSirs' chlorinated paraffin analyst believes that the chlorinated paraffin market had been weak recently. As of March 21st, there was still support on the cost side, and the demand side needed to be released. The market had a cautious wait-and-see mentality. It is expected that the market price of chlorinated paraffin will consolidate in the short term.
