SunSirs: Cost Bearish, China PS Prices is Falling

　　According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average PS quotation at the beginning of this week was 10,300 RMB/ton, and the average PS price over the weekend was 10,266 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.32% and an increase of 6.94% compared to the same period last year.

　　Reference for mainstream brand prices excluding taxes: Taiwan Taihua 5250 quoted 11,200 RMB/ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N quoted 10,030-10,050 RMB/ton, Shanghai Secco 123P quoted 10,200 RMB/ton, Thai Petrochemical 150 quoted 10,350 RMB/ton, Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 quoted 9,660-9,700 RMB/ton, Petrochemical 660 quoted 10,650-10,700 RMB/ton.

　　The raw material market has declined, and there is a strong wait-and-see atmosphere among industry insiders. Some businesses are maintaining small discounts, while downstream businesses are maintaining essential procurement. In addition, there is insufficient support on the demand side, and there is still resistance for merchants to ship. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market is between 9,700 and 11,600 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is between 10,600 and 11,800 RMB/ton.
