Analysis review
As of May 17th, the new price for 52% of the powder potassium sulfate arriving at the station was between 3,250-3,350 RMB/ton, and the prices of traders in different regions varied, with actual transactions mainly being negotiated. The market sales price of 50% powder potassium sulfate in Qinghai's water salt system was mostly between 3,000-3,100 RMB/ton. As of May 17th, the ex factory price of 52% Mannheim potassium sulfate powder was between 3,200-3,500 RMB/ton, with slight differences in prices between the north and south. Prices were mainly negotiated in different regions, and the spot price of potassium sulfate in the market was relatively high.
The domestic market price of potassium sulfate continued to rise, with a significant increase. Resource based potassium sulfate manufacturers were still producing, and some manufacturers will enter traditional summer maintenance on the 31st of this month. The subsequent supply of goods will be significantly reduced. The production of processing type Mannheim potassium sulfate plants remained at a high level, with insufficient supply of goods in the factory. Many pending orders can continue to be shipped until the end of this month or even June, and new orders are mostly being controlled and accepted.
