SunSirs: Daily Report of China Commodity Data (June 21, 2024)

On June 20th, the commodity price index (BPI) was at 952 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 29.11% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 44.24% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)





According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on June 20, 2024, there were a total of 34 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, concentrated in the chemical industry sector (12 in total) and the non-ferrous metal sector (9 in total). The top three commodities with an increase were crude benzene (3.02%), tin (2.02%), and dichloromethane (1.28%). There are a total of 48 commodities with a month on month decline, concentrated in the chemical industry (22 in total) and agriculture and sidelines (8 in total), and commodities with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector; The top three commodities with a decline were coal tar (high temperature) (-8.41%), isobutyraldehyde (-3.24%), and lithium hydroxide (-3.04%).
