SunSirs: Wankai New Materials: The Year-on-year Increase in New Production Capacity of PE Bottle Chips in 2023 Exceeds 30%

According to the investor relations activity record table disclosed by Wankai New Materials, starting from 2023, PE bottle flakes will enter a peak period of new production capacity, with an increase of about 4-5 million tons of new production capacity in 2023, a year-on-year growth of over 30%. The company is currently constructing a project with an annual output of 1.2 million tons of MEG and a co production of 100,000 tons of electronic grade DMC new materials (Phase I). The project is currently under construction as planned and is expected to begin trial production in the fourth quarter of 2024. In addition, in the future, the company will focus on expanding its production capacity overseas, including regions such as ASEAN, Africa, and the United States, and has already started preparations for the construction of a bottle grade PET production base in Nigeria.
