SunSirs: Daily Report of China Bulk Commodity Data (July 29, 2024)

On July 28th, the commodity price index BPI was 921 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 31.42% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 39.55% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1, 2011 to present)





According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, there were a total of 8 commodities in the non-ferrous sector that saw a month on month increase in commodity prices during the 30th week of 2024 (7.22-7.26). The top 3 commodities with the highest increase were dysprosium ferroalloy (2.20%), dysprosium oxide (2.15%), and praseodymium neodymium oxide (0.69%). There are 10 products with a month on month decline, and 1 product with a decline of more than 5%, accounting for 4.8% of the monitored products in this sector; The top three products with a decline are silver (-5.93%), tin (-3.83%), and silicon metal (-3.12%).
