On August 2nd, the domestic prices of dysprosium terbium rare earth elements rose. The recent trading situation on the exchange was average, with terbium oxide prices rising by 150,000 RMB/ton to 5.475 million RMB/ton, terbium metal prices rising by 50,000 RMB/ton to 6.525 million RMB/ton, dysprosium oxide prices rising by 10,000 RMB/ton to 1.745 million RMB/ton, dysprosium metal prices rising by 30,000 RMB/ton to 2.305 million RMB/ton, and dysprosium ferroalloy prices rising by 20,000 RMB/ton to 1.7 million RMB/ton.
Analysis review
Recently, the market for new energy vehicles in the terminal market had remained stable, with normal transactions among downstream permanent magnet material manufacturers of rare earths. Downstream purchases had been mainly based on demand, with an increase in new orders. The prices of dysprosium series and terbium series in the heavy rare earth market had risen.
