Some large factories increased their prices, while downstream buyers were cautious in pursuing higher prices and focused on purchasing for essential needs.

On August 7th, the market situation of maleic anhydride in South China was sorted out, with liquid maleic anhydride prices reference around 6,700 RMB/ton and solid maleic anhydride prices reference around 6,900 RMB/ton.

On August 7th, the market for maleic anhydride in Shandong Province saw a slight increase, with the ex factory price of solid maleic anhydride around 6,500 RMB/ton and the ex factory price of liquid maleic anhydride around 6,000 RMB/ton. The market auction prices rose slightly, and downstream transactions were mainly driven by urgent needs, resulting in cautious transactions.
