The mainstream price range for xylene in the South China market in the morning was 7,450-7,600 RMB/ton, with a price reduction of 50 RMB/ton compared to the previous trading day. On the 7th, downstream purchases were made on demand, and market negotiations were relatively quiet. Sinopec South China quoted a price of 7,500-7,600 RMB/ton for xylene, unchanged.

The mainstream spot price range for xylene in the East China region in the morning was between 7,400-7,430 RMB/ton, which was temporarily stable compared to the previous trading day. As of August 7th, the market offers were generally stable, with a strong wait-and-see sentiment and slightly light trading.

On August 7th, the international xylene market remained stable. On Wednesday (August 7th), the international xylene market closed stable: the FOB USG closing price for August was 317.25-317.35 US cents/gallon, while the FOB USG closing price for September was 317.25-317.35 US cents/gallon, unchanged.
