As of the close on August 12th, the closing price of the Asian MTBE market has increased by $17/ton compared to the previous trading day, with FOB Singapore closing at $775.99-777.99/ton. The closing price of the European MTBE market increased by $8.25/ton compared to the previous trading day, and FOB ARA closed at $940.49-940.99/ton. The closing price of the MTBE market in the United States increased by $18.68 per ton compared to the previous trading day, and the FOB Gulf offshore price closed at $998.22-998.57/ton (281.19-281.29 cents per gallon).
