According to Xing Zhongying, general manager of Tianjin stainless steel market, the transaction volume of Tianjin stainless steel market in July was 880 tons and the transaction amount was 14.1 million RMB, down 18% and 14% month-on-month respectively. In July, the transaction volume and amount of stainless steel in the market were in an overall downward trend. Looking forward to the future, the overall demand is still insufficient, and the fluctuation and downward trend of the transaction volume and amount in the market will continue. 　　 　　

In terms of varieties, in July, the market's sales volume ranked first, with sales of 290 tons, down 12% month-on-month (the same below), accounting for 32.95% of the total market sales; the transaction amount was 4.2 million RMB, down 9% month-on-month (the same below), accounting for 29.79% of the total market sales. The second place in sales volume was stainless steel plates, with sales of 260 tons, down 19%, accounting for 29.55%; the transaction amount was 4.4 million RMB, down 15%, accounting for 31.20%. Stainless steel pipes ranked third in sales volume, with sales volume of 240 tons, down 14%,accounting for 27.27%; transaction volume was 4.5 million RMB, down 12%, accounting for 31.91%. Others ranked fourth in sales volume, with sales volume of 90 tons, down 36%, accounting for 10.23%; transaction volume was 1 million RMB, down 33%, accounting for 7.10%. According to dealers, the products with relatively large sales in July include: stainless angle steel with material 304 and specifications of 40mm×40mm×4mm and 50mm×50mm×5mm; stainless round steel with material 304 and specifications of 8mm~28mm and 30mm~60mm; stainless seamless pipe with material 304 and specifications of 20mm×3mm, 22mm×3mm, 25mm×3mm, 38mm×3mm, 32mm×3mm, 48mm×3mm, 45mm×3mm, 57mm×3mm and 76mm×4mm; cold-rolled stainless steel sheet with material 304/2B and specifications of 0.5mm×1000mm×2000mm; cold-rolled stainless steel sheet with material 304/2B and specifications of 1.0mm×1000mm×2000mm. The sales volume of the above varieties accounts for more than 60% of the total sales volume in this market.
