On August 15, the base price of polyester staple fiber in SunSirs was 7660.00 RMB/ton, down -1.08% from the beginning of this month (7743.33 RMB/ton).

On August 15, the price of polyester staple fiber in Jiangsu Sanfangxiang was lowered, among which the semi-light direct spinning 1.4D*38mm polyester staple fiber was quoted at 7650 RMB/ton, down 50 RMB/ton from the previous trading day, and the actual order can be negotiated.

On August 15, the domestic polyester staple fiber market in East China fell, and the mainstream factory quoted 7600-7650 RMB/ton, down 50 RMB/ton from the previous trading day. Cost support moved down, demand performance was weak, and market transactions remained quiet.

On August 15, the domestic polyester staple fiber market in North China fell, and the mainstream factory quoted 7550-7650 RMB/ton. Support from the cost side weakened, downstream companies were cautious and focused on purchasing based on basic needs, and the market transaction center of gravity moved downward.
