The main contract for methanol futures, 2501, opened at 2,539 RMB/ton, with a highest price of 2,542 RMB/ton and a lowest price of 2,522 RMB/ton. It closed at 2,535 RMB/ton in the closing session, up 16 RMB/ton from the previous trading day's settlement, an increase of 0.64%. The trading volume was 462,266 lots, and the position was 639,397 lots, with a daily increase of -1,100.

The closing price of CFR Southeast Asian methanol market is 346.00-347.00 US dollars per ton.

The closing price of the US Gulf methanol market was 107.00-108.00 cents/gallon, up 2 cents/gallon; The closing price of FOB Rotterdam methanol market is 338.00-339.00 euros/ton, up 2 euros/ton.
