Recently (9.20-9.29), the SBR market has been consolidating at a high level. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of September 29th, the price of SBR in the East China market was 16,583 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.76% from 16,458 RMB/ton on September 20th. The price of raw material butadiene has risen and the price of styrene has fallen, which still supports the cost of SBR. Downstream tire production is stable with slight fluctuations; The overall production of SBR remains low. The supply price of SBR remains strong, with the mainstream market price for 1502 SBR in Fushun, Jihua, Yangzi, and Qilu in East China as of September 29th ranging from 16,500 to 16,800 RMB/ton.

Recently (9.20-9.29), the price of raw material butadiene has risen and the price of styrene has fallen, which has supported the cost of SBR. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of September 29th, the price of butadiene was 13,700 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.39% from 13,512 RMB/ton on September 20th; As of September 29th, the price of styrene was 8,986 RMB/ton, a decrease of 2.92% from 9,256 RMB/ton on September 20th.

Recently (9.20-9.29), domestic SBR plants have been operating at a low level, around 56%.

Supply and demand side: The downstream tire industry has seen a slight decline in production, with demand mainly supported by the rigid demand of the SBR market. As of September 27th, the operating load of semi steel tires in domestic tire enterprises is around 79%; The operating load of all steel tires in tire enterprises in Shandong region is about 56%.

From a fundamental perspective, analysts from SunSirs believe that the current cost of SBR still has support; The production of SBR remains low, and the pressure on the supply side of SBR is not significant; The current downstream tire production is stable with slight fluctuations, and overall, the SBR market is mainly consolidating at a high level in the short term.
