From January to October, the cumulative export of steel reached 91.893 million tons, an increase of 17.361 million tons or 23.3% year-on-year.

According to customs statistics, in October 2024, China imported 536,000 tons of steel, a decrease of 18,000 tons or 3.2% compared to the previous month; The average price was 1,767.4 US dollars/per ton, an increase of 92.5 US dollarsper ton month on month, or 5.5%. From January to October, the cumulative import of steel was 5.721 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 645,000 tons, a decrease of 10.1%.
